Week 4 Term 1 2021

 The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time this week is play because I can hang out with my friends and play with them and it will be so much fun.


We started our art this week and I have chosen to do art with Mrs Heaven and Mrs Loft.  Our art is going to be a face of my self because I was away and I got put in this art group but I like what I am doing even when I didn’t pick this art group but right now I am just doing the layout for now.


We created our Whetū stars on Thursday and they look awesome I did it with my mum and we brought our own little stars for our star and my mum helped out with the star as well.


Next week we have our school swimming sports. I am feeling excited about swimming sports because we can earn house points for our house team.

    It was great that your mum was able to come in to help you with your Whetū star. The stickers you added were such an awesome idea. Good luck for swimming sports!

Term 3 Worckshop reflection

  Whetū Workshops Reflection During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops. The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been emoji multiplication. The new learning that I have learnt is the emoji multiplication because it has times tables that I want to do in it to make the emoji. What I have most enjoyed about the workshops are the emoji multiplication because it is my thing for times table.  I am interested in learning more about rad rhythm because I’m interested of making music with instruments.

A goal I have for myself this year is to help others so they can help other people. What I am most looking forward to this year is doing awesome stuf f in class this year with the teachers!x Someone who has helped me so far is Owen he always helps me when I am in his class. How I aim to show our NPS ICARE this year is Respect others and listen to them so they do the same thing to someone else.    Over the last week I have been working on my visual pepeha. What I found challenging was the Ngatea simple because I couldn’t get the logo perfected enough and I had to make it small to fit it in the star.  I am proud of my star because it to a long time to get it finish and it took time to get it finished. What I found challenging was the Nagtea simple and also I couldn’t fit it in the large left leg of the star so I had to make it small to fit. I worked with my mum to create my whanau star.

Week 5 Term 1 2021 template

  Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I was not here on the day when swimming sports happened. We had two art sessions this week and I like the art sessions with Mrs. Loft and Mrs. Heaven we are doing our faces and we can use pastel or paint. In reading this week we have the magic finger I have done Summariser and Predictor for the magic finger. Part of our maths programme is NumBots and I think I am getting better at NumBots I'm on tungsten in NumBots my goal in NumBots is to reach Diamond it is the highest level NumBots is a math game that you have to answer questions to move up.
