 Today's Play, Make, Create we listen to a story called We are all equal. I worked with Sean and we made a snake board and we choose, design witch is design a transport for a snake. I guess putting the parts together worked out but I would make, the snake board stronger and like redesign it to make it better. I think that this, is a supernova but I can add some auditions to it at home, to make it look better.

  Today's Play, make, create was Rain Before Rainbows I did a treasure map to find a chest hidden and I also added locations to throw people off to find the chest. I choose Make because it was interesting and I also had ideas of places on the map, to put on the map and I tried to add detail and, this was a fun challenge to do. I think this is a supernova work.

  Today I worked with Danny and Kian. Things worked OK we tried to make the tallest tower made out of newspaper, tape and scissors but it collapsed when we tried to make it tall, so we only got the base and the legs. It was the shortest tower, that I made but it was OK that was in the hole class from Whetu, and I did not improved sadly. But we did try and try but we tried really hard but in the end, we build a very short tower and this was a fun challenge to do to! I really enjoined it!

 

  This is a literary task that I was doing in my time since I finished my book we, did  f abulous finish I did descriptive passage about Hitler because, he was in the book and we had to do someone from the book we had three weeks to get this completed, and I think this is a supernova because it took three weeks to get this completed.

 

  Today's Play, make, create was called the Theodore unsure and I did a throne room and a crown for the king I would change the design on the walls and add picture's but I did not know how to draw them so I didn't, do them I think the throne room worked out well because there is a lot of you can add to the room and I could always came back and redesign the throne room, and I used cardboard, scissors and sellotape and I think this is a supernova.

  Today we did sticking with each other that was the book and I worked with Ryan we did farm place we did a house, lake, creek and a power pole and we choose design to make something that you wanna make, the farm worked out well I would change that we will add a tractor next time when we have more time. 

  Regan and I made a boat for Play, Make, Create and the story was based on be you the challenging bit was cutting because cutting cardboard is hard and difficult what worked out well was putting the ice cream sticks together to hold the boat so it wont fall off,   and we named the boat Reaper, I would change the boat to look like a boat and make it close to a Reaper boat.

  Term 2, Week 1 2021 During Term 1 we have been practising our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online programme called NumBots.  At the start it was super easy but progressively got more challenging. I am now on  Plantinum  level of NumBots.   I enjoy NumBots because it is fun if you get up to high levels because it tests you high timetables. What I find challenging is Plantinum because they have answer's in the hundred's and it is fun to get challenged. This week we have started TTRockstars.  This is an online programme which helps us to learn our timetables. I think that TTRockstars will be helpful for me buecause it helps me with maths if I didint know the answer now I know.

   I did play, make, create and I worked by myself I choose design a map to help navigate the creak to help get back to home how this started was that the bear, dear and beaver all wanted to got canoeing down the creak and the book was called up the creak, what most worked out for me was the creak because it lays out with the story of how the creak was showed to us, I would not change anything unless I have a good idea and it would fit perfectly with my map, and I used paper, colouring pencils and a plan, and I think this is a supernova job.

  Me and Dylan did mixed colour's to do mixed feeling's orange was bored, yellow was lazy, black was helpful and there are other many colour's that you can see for your self and we used vivid's, leave's, and a plan to see what we were thinking. I think this is a supernova there were four options me and Dylan chose that bottom one.

  Whetu Fun Day Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block. My favourite part of the Amazing Race was going around Ngatea to find the eggs my hardest part was at the day care it took a couple of minutes to find the egg. My best part was doing the puzzle at the hockey turf we were trying to get it to look dental to a cube my group was good at it we did it in one minute it was pretty fast my past groups there, the people I was working with in my group was Eli, Max, Regan, George, Dylan, Lachlan and me. The rotation I enjoyed the most was the Mosaics because you could choose the colour you wont and use that to got on your on the one that you must choose the choose's were an egg or and bunny I choose the bunny.   I did a play, make, create with Danny, and Gursahib and we make a giraffe out of card bored, string, sellotape, and scissors we based off a story about a giraffe and we came up with this idea It looks pretty good when you see it up and close and I think this is a supernova job of doing this.

 I think the story is interesting it is a good story to read the best bit I like about the story is that at the end when the girl goes to the pond and uses the magic finger on the family that is hunting the ducks.  my slide  you will find that I have done some 

  I worked with Eli and Noah and we build a bridge one end is high and the other end is the lower end and we made it out of klicko and we made a bridge to build it because we wanted to work all together and I think this is a supernova. The hard part was building the cubes because they keep falling apart the easy part was building the bridge my favorite part was creating all of these the bridge, cubes, and the water.

  This is my Whetu challenge I worked with Eli and Regan we were doing a cocoon house for the butterflies we put in a bed, kiction, bookshelf, and pictures.

  Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I was not here on the day when swimming sports happened. We had two art sessions this week and I like the art sessions with Mrs. Loft and Mrs. Heaven we are doing our faces and we can use pastel or paint. In reading this week we have the magic finger I have done Summariser and Predictor for the magic finger. Part of our maths programme is NumBots and I think I am getting better at NumBots I'm on tungsten in NumBots my goal in NumBots is to reach Diamond it is the highest level NumBots is a math game that you have to answer questions to move up.

  The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time this week is play because I can hang out with my friends and play with them and it will be so much fun. We started our art this week and I have chosen to do art with Mrs Heaven and Mrs Loft.  Our art is going to be a face of my self because I was away and I got put in this art group but I like what I am doing even when I didn’t pick this art group but right now I am just doing the layout for now. We created our Whetū stars on Thursday and they look awesome I did it with my mum and we brought our own little stars for our star and my mum helped out with the star as well. Next week we have our school swimming sports. I am feeling excited about swimming sports because we can earn house points for our house team.

  Week 3, Term 1, 2021 Someone who has helped me with my learning this year is Regan for helping me when I was stuck. The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time is swimming because it is so much fun. The most fun thing that I have done at play or lunchtime this year is playing with my friends because they included people and it becomes so much fun. One word that describes learning in Whetu is stars because it means stars. Something I am looking forward to is more Whetu challenges because they are so much fun to do.
